lawnmowerman

Have you got mad PHP/Front end web development skills? Do you know your way around a whole host of development technologies and languages? Could you punch a hole in the side of a moving bus?

If you have the first two qualities, and are interested in some possible contract work for us here at Together then please email us a with a CV.

You need to be familiar with (and bloody good at) the following technologies…

PHP5
Smarty
HTML5
CSS3
JavaScript
MySQL

The following would also be useful…

OO
MVC
REST
LESS
SASS
jQuery
Flas
AS3, Linux
Apache
Nginx a plus

So, if you’ve got the skills, the experience and a love of moderately priced biscuits, then you could be just what we’re looking for.

However, if all you can do is punch a hole in the side of a bus, then we have little use for you.

No agencies thanks.

Horse Force: the conclusion

Horse Force Guide winner

In what was probably the greatest horse-based social media experiment since a mobile phone network took a Shetland pony and taught it to moonwalk, we launched Horse Force – a compilation of tips for picking this year’s Grand National winner, gathered via the magical medium of Twitter.

You responded with aplomb, showering us with your creative solutions to this age-old gambling dilemma. Suggestions ranged from the sensible (a horse that has recently emptied its bowels will doubtless run faster) to the frankly unrealistic (horses don’t even like marshmallows).

Romping home in first place was the mighty @Albooth, who is kind to all horses as long as they stay off the herbaceous borders.

And here is the fruit of your collective endeavours: the Together guide to picking a Grand National winner.

At this point we should probably add some sort of disclaimer so that anyone foolish enough to stake their life’s savings on the advice published here can’t sue the bejesus out of us.

And as for us, we just checked the list of runners and realised there was a horse called ‘Join Together’. We should probably back that one.
